About Us
Here at 2010specialolympics.org we feel that it is necessary to inform the public about one of the nation’s most special events: the 2010 Special Olympics and what an honor it was to have the event in the state of Nebraska. The games continue to be an important part of the fabric of America and 2010specialolympics.org is a site that is dedicated to giving only free information about these 2010 games, the activities and the athletes that were involved in the occasion. This site has been dedicated to giving information about these games in Nebraska since its creation and will continue to do so for its duration.
If you have an interest in the 2010 special Olympics you can find much information about it through this site and please feel free to contact us with your questions about the site or those pertaining to the event. Supporting this event is something that we at 2010specialolympics feel is the duty of everyone so this site was made to honor it and all of the participants that took part in making it as great as it was. Join us in commemorating this event by viewing the information contained in this website and sharing it with others while we look forward to the next one.
Nebraska hosted the 2010 special Olympics but many other countries around the world participate in hosting its events. The special Olympics is a staple in the world sporting community which brings joy to many athletes with special needs who would otherwise not be able to participate in a major sporting event. This event is responsible for benefitting these athletes in this manner as well as providing a way to improve the self esteem and confidence of special needs athletes. In addition to this the games are a great way to promote healthiness as well as taking part in physical activities.
